Our Lady of Korsun  4¾" x 4" 


Our Lady of Korsun icon of the Mother of God is believed to be one of those painted by the holy Evangelist Luke. It is named from the ancient Greek town of Korsun (Chersonesus), a port in the Crimea. The icon depicts Her motherly love for the infant Jesus.


This is a mounted icon. Mounted icons are created from quality reproductions of ancient icons and are printed on museum quality art paper with high quality pigment-based inks. The reproductions are mounted on birch veneered plywood and varnished for protection.


All artwork is done in solitude and in prayer, anonymously and with love.
