The sisters have been spending the winter months hand-painting ornaments and egg cups to celebrate the arrival of Easter.
The Easter ornaments are handwritten small icons which represent the eleven Gospels of the Resurrection and hand painted traditional glorious crosses, as well as the Paschal Lamb with the Cross - whose immolation saves the world. There are two different collections of five with 4 scenes and a decorative Cross.
The hand-painted egg holders make for a lively Easter table to beautify the colored eggs. It has been an age-old tradition in many countries of the world to decorate eggs at Easter as a symbol of new life and hope. The egg cups feature traditional patterns used for centuries by Christians around the world.
