LITURGY
LITURGICAL SCHEDULE
Having offered to the Father the unique oblation of Himself, and then raised up to the Father, the glorified Son of Man stands eternally in the name of His brothers and sisters in the presence of His Father.
The Holy Liturgy of the Church is, in Him who is both man and God, "synergy"; a work accomplished together, between the divine Family and the human family.
The word "Liturgia" is formed from two Greek words: λαÏŒς-á¼”ργον. The word λαÏŒς means the people. The word á¼”ργον means work, action. The Sancta Liturgia is therefore the act, the work, accomplished by the people of God.
