Most Holy Trinity 15½" x 13"
The Most Holy Trinity icon is inspired by the holy monk and icon painter Andrei Rublev, who completed it in 1422. It depicts the three divine persons, and at its center we see the altar. Around this altar, the divine plan unfolds. In the middle, we see the chalice, and within it, the Lamb. God always desired, even before the foundation of the world, to be the Lamb, to give himself up for us.
This is a mounted icon with raised borders. Mounted icons are created from quality reproductions of ancient icons and are printed on museum quality art paper with high quality pigment-based inks. The reproductions are mounted on birch veneered plywood and varnished for protection.
All artwork is done in solitude and in prayer, anonymously and with love.
