Christ of Rublev icon is the work of the great Andrei Rublev. It was painted for one of Zvenigorod cathedrals in the 1420s.
This is a mounted icon. Mounted icons are created from quality reproductions of ancient icons and are printed on museum quality art paper with high quality pigment-based inks. The reproductions are mounted on birch veneered plywood and varnished for protection.
All artwork is done in solitude and in prayer, anonymously and with love.
